What was built?
- 2 multipurpose courts
- Fencing
- Associated sports equipment and towers
This was probably our longest project. It commenced in Oct 2010 and should have been completed within a few months. Unfortunately after the pad was cut, the principal contractor discovered asbestos on the site and we were delayed until late 2011.
The site was also the most arduous in terms of OH&S that we’ve ever encountered. At the time perceived as a curse but in hindsight great training for the new wave of national legislation being rolled out from Jan 1st, 2012.
We would like to extend our thanks to the principal contractors team for their assistance and cooperation in a simple build that became very complex.
